Q1. Is Sara's Kitchener Waterloo (KW) Driving Schools an MTO-approved course provider?
Yes, Sara's Kitchener Waterloo (KW) Driving Schools is a MTO (Ministry of Transportation) approved beginner driver education course provider (BDE). You can go to the website for MTO to get a full list of approved Beginner driver education providers.

Q3. Are the Sara's Kitchener Waterloo (KW) Driving Schools MTO certificates recognized by the Insurance Companies?
Yes. Sara's K-W Driving Schools is a Ministry- approved course provider. Our certificates are honored by all participating car Insurance providers.
Q4. How soon can I start my in-car driving lessons?
You may start your in-car driving lessons at the same time as your in-class training or you may begin taking your in-car lessons after completing the classes.
Q5. How long do I have to wait to take my G2 road test?
If you take K-W Driving Schools MTO-approved course, you can take your G2 road test after waiting a minimum of 8 months from date of license issue. Without the course you must wait a minimum of 12 months or one year.
Q6. How long do I have to complete the course?
You must complete the entire course within 12 months.
Q7. Will the instructor's vehicle be available for my G2 road test?
This is available for an additional cost (see our price list page). Or ask your in-car instructor for more info or call 519 725-9544 or 519 725-1603 for more details.
Q8. Do I need to have my G1 license before I start the in class portion of the course?
No you do not have to have your G1 license however, we do recommend that you don't hurry as, once you get your G1 license you will have to wait 8 months before going for your G2.
Q9. What if I fail my road test the first time?
Booking another road test is allowed after 10 days.
Q10. What is the insurance discount I should expect with the MTO certificate?
This will depend on the vehicle you're driving, and the Insurance Company. Insurance companies will usually give approximately 20% to 40% discount with the MTO certificate. We suggest that you call the insurance company to inquire about the insurance discount.
Q11. When can I get my G2 license?
You must wait eight months and have taken a Driver Training course to receive the MTO certificate of completion.
Q12. What happens if I have to miss an in classroom sessions will I still graduate the course?
In order for you to graduate and receive the MTO certificate you will have to make up the hours that were missed.
Q13. What if I don't want the class portion?
If all you want is single in car driving lessons, we offer that too (see our price list page for details).
